As a registered nurse and single parent, Maureen has balanced work, childcare and saving to secure her first home. She is now the proud owner of a three-bedroom home at Linden Homes’ successful Heath Farm development, which covers Partington and Carrington in Greater Manchester.

The homebuying journey for Maureen began around five years ago, following her divorce. She had been exploring Greater Manchester for areas that suit her work commitments and her daughters' schools before deciding on Heath Farm, which is now fully sold. 

Maureen commented, “Saving up for my new home was a challenge, but I’m really proud of myself and my daughters. It was nerve-wracking having had no experience of the process, but I’m so happy with my decision. It’s the perfect time for me and my girls to start our next adventure together.”

Maureen was particularly keen to own a new build home that would be move-in ready and cost-effective to maintain. Opting for a Linden property also meant Maureen was able to personalise her kitchen and bathroom design, and enjoy brand new appliances.
