Leading housing and regeneration specialist Galliford Try Partnerships, which markets its homes under the award winning Linden Homes banner, has submitted a planning application to deliver 15 new homes on the outskirts of Manchester.
The application outlined to Manchester City Council (MCC) seeks permission to develop 15 new build dwellings on land at Trenchard Drive, Moss Nook, around 0.5 miles from Manchester Airport and 9 miles from Manchester City Centre.
If planning consent is granted, Galliford Try Partnerships will commence construction in June 2016 with first completions expected late 2016. The development will comprise a mix of three and four-bedroom homes. All will be available for open market sale.
Darren Leary, development director of Galliford Try Partnerships, said: “We are seeing strong demand for new homes in Manchester and we continue to seek out further opportunities in Manchester and the surrounding localities for our Linden Homes brand.”
This is the second planning application the company has submitted to Manchester City Council in recent months. The first was an application to deliver 62 two, three and four bedroom homes a prime area of Gorton. A decision on this application is expected from MCC in the coming weeks.
Galliford Try Partnerships is currently building 500 quality new homes under the Linden Homes brand for sale and rent in Brunswick, Manchester as part of a £100m PFI regeneration programme, which is completely transforming the area.
