One of the most interesting housing developments to emerge in Newbury is almost sold out: Linden Homes’ St Bartholomew’s Grange now has just a handful of homes remaining.
The development, which has proved extremely popular since it opened less than a year ago, is a mix of new build houses and refurbished apartments and there are just four 4 bedroom houses left (three townhouses and one detached home) and four apartments left in the Victorian Wormestall building.
These homes have been built and refurbished on the old site of St Bartholomew’s School: When pupils at the school moved into their new multi-million pound purpose built structure last year, the beautiful old Wormestall and Luker buildings were left empty. These have now been transformed into a series of beautiful, high ceilinged individual apartments. The new homes have been built in what used to be the school grounds.
