The 2018 FIFA World Cup hasn’t even finished and we’re already looking ahead to 2026!
Linden Homes is helping to inspire the next generation of footballers by supporting local communities near its new homes developments in Bitton and Kempsey.
Tom Morgan from Bitton Association Football Club’s said: “Bitton AFC is very thankful to Linden Homes for sponsoring the under ten’s team. The children were desperately in need of new kits and they are thrilled with their professional new look, they certainly look the part!
“The players enjoyed showing Jodie from Bitton Mill a few skills and she was a real sport in having a go, we’re hoping to sign her up!”
Founded in 1892, the club trains at Bitton recreation ground and enables men, women and children to enjoy the sport in the heart of the village. The future is looking positive for Bitton AFC, thanks to strong leadership and support from both players and sponsors.
Linden Homes is also sponsoring Kempsey Colts, one of the biggest football clubs in Worcestershire, which provides over 160 boys and girls with the opportunity to play the sport in their local community. There are ten teams across a range of age groups, from the under 7s up to the under 18s.
Tony Windsor from the club said: “Kempsey Colts FC is very grateful to Linden Homes for sponsoring the under 7s team and providing them with their first new kit. The children were so excited to join the club and having their own professional-looking kit really helps them feel part of the team.”
