Scholars Grange in the Hampshire village of Swanmore has launched to great acclaim.
The long awaited launch was met with enthusiasm from local people and from those from further afield: During the first weekend alone 3 reservations were taken.
Scholar’s Grange is a collection of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes located just off New Road in Swanmore.
Tina Chalk is marketing manager at Linden Homes South: “This is the first new build of its kind in the area for a long time and I think people have been really curious to see what our new homes offer. Many of the visitors who have looked around the show homes and viewed the model of the development as a whole have mentioned that they were really impressed by the finish and the layouts.
“We do think very carefully about modern families and how they live: We include studies, ensuite bathrooms, patio doors and utility rooms when possible – and always parking. Homes in Britain are constantly evolving to create more open, family-friendly spaces and our designs at Scholar’s Grange reflect those changes. Scholar’s Grange is the latest development from award winning Linden Homes. The Linden Homes’ brand has won House Builder of the Year for two years running at the Ideal Home Show Blue Ribbon Awards: It also took the title of Developer of the Year 2014 at the New Energy and Cleantech Awards. Last year’s awards included Large House Builder of the Year at the House Builder Awards and the gold medal for Best Sustainable Development at the What House Awards.
The homes at Scholar’s Grange have the dual advantage of a rural location and easy commuting links: As an added bonus, there are also very good schools in the area, including Swanmore College, which is in the village itself.
Swanmore is close to Winchester and is surrounded by the lovely Hampshire villages of Bishops Waltham and Wickham.
