Linden Homes has started work on Kings Gate - an exciting new homes development in Kingsteignton.
Comprising 250 high quality homes, including 63 which will be classed as affordable housing, the scheme will feature a mix of two, three and four bedroom properties and will also include several attractive areas of public open space, an orchard and allotments.
Brian Deacon, sales and marketing director for Linden Homes said: “We have just cut the sod to mark the start of work on site and look forward to delivering some fantastic new homes in Kingsteignton, especially as Kings Gate is near to our regional head office in Newton Abbot.”
Located in Kingsteignton, with a number of local amenities on its doorstep, Kings Gate boasts easy access to the A380, with Newton Abbot, Teignmouth and Exeter nearby.
Linden Homes is working closely with Teignbridge District Council on the new development. Brian explained: “The council is spearheading a new campaign where they are asking that 5% of every new homes development in the area is available as self build, this will increase Linden Homes’ offering and will be a fantastic opportunity for the local community. As a result, eight properties at Kings Gate will be self build homes.”
Kings Gate will be launched next year, with the first homes due for completion in summer 2015.
Linden Homes is part of the Galliford Try Group, the company responsible for delivering the South Devon Link Road.
