A new playground has been unveiled in Saffron Walden for families to enjoy.
Linden Homes, part of Vistry Group, welcomed visitors to the new play area during a community event held at its Saffron View development off Radwinter Road.
The three-storey, five-bedroom Fordham show home was also open to visitors on the day to look around.
Jason Colmer, sales and marketing director for Vistry Eastern, said: “It was great fun hosting this community event at Saffron View. The children really enjoyed themselves on the new playground, which is part of the new public open space being provided at the development.

The housebuilder is delivering a total of 200 properties at Saffron View, including 122 houses for private sale and 78 affordable homes for rent or shared ownership.
Jason commented: “The majority of buyers at Saffron View have relocated from outside the area ?" mainly London ?" in search of a bigger home in a quieter area. Many of these customers have been able to get more for their money and are enjoying a better quality of life here.
“I think what’s attracting buyers to the development is the idyllic rural location within the Essex countryside, as well the excellent transport links to the capital ?" with the development only three miles away from Audley End railway station.”
Construction work began at Saffron View in 2017 and is due to finish at the end of the year. There is currently a selection of four and five-bedroom homes available.
