New Luxury Show Home Unveiled At Development In New Eltham
21 Apr 2022

The doors have been opened to a luxury five-bedroom detached house at a new development in New Eltham.

Vistry Group launched the three-storey show home ?" the Carlingford ?" at Linden Homes’ Waterford Place development at the end of March.

A total of 135 new homes are being built at the site off Avery Hill Road, where just three five-bedroom properties and one four-bedroom home are now available to reserve.

Ginny James, Sales and Marketing Director for Vistry South East, said: “The unveiling of the Carlingford is the first time that buyers can view a completed five-bedroom home at this much-sought-after development.

“The construction team and the interior designers have excelled themselves and produced a truly stunning three-storey show home that illustrates just how luxurious living can be intertwined with the requirements of a modern family.

“The Carlingford is an exceptional family-sized home which features on the ground floor a large open-plan kitchen/dining/family room with French doors onto the spacious back garden. This flexible space provides a focal point of the home where socialising and relaxation are the order of the day.

“There is also a utility room and a sizeable study which can be converted into an office for parents working from home or transformed into a ‘games room’ for teenagers.

“Meanwhile, the first floor features three bedrooms, one with an en suite, and a large traditional living room which looks out over the front of the house.

“The top floor offers a grown-up escape with two more double bedrooms, both with en suite facilities. All in all, the three storeys allow buyers to live life across multiple levels giving greater space and affording greater privacy to family members and guests.”

The location has attracted interest from both local people and others wanting to move out of central London.

Ginny said: “Waterford Place has proved to be an exceptionally popular location. Since the last phase was launched off-plan in October 2021, the demand is such that we now only have four properties left to sell.

“We have had local people buying here but we have seen a lot of purchasers move here after selling up in the capital. There have been quite a few buyers who were living and working in central London who have upsized from an apartment to a house here.

“The move really works for these commuters because they get to live in a bigger home out of the city and can be at work in less than an hour. It is a ten-minute walk from Waterford Place to the train station at New Eltham, where a 20-minute train ride gets you into London Bridge before a short journey on the Jubilee Line arrives at Canary Wharf.

“We are anticipating a great deal of interest in these remaining properties so would encourage potential purchasers to contact our sales team as soon as possible.”
