Award winning housebuilder Linden Homes has just supported South Devon College’s 10 kilometre race and fun run.
The race was well attended and attracted over 500 people, despite the weather! Nigel Palmer, managing director for Linden Homes said: “We’re pleased to support South Devon College’s gruelling 10k run and I must pass on my congratulations to the runners, as I understand it’s an enjoyable but very challenging course.
“South Devon College is well regarded locally and a number of our apprentices and trainees attend courses at the college, so I’m delighted we have been able to sponsor this event.”
Janice Morris, senior events and lettings co-ordinator from South Devon College said: “We are really grateful to Linden Homes for sponsoring the race and are delighted with the race turn out and feedback from runners. The day raised a great deal of money and this will now be used to make a real difference to our students affected by hardship or disadvantage.”
Linden Homes is building homes locally at Higher Moor in Avonwick, Ogwell Brook in East Ogwell, South Sands in Torquay and will be launching Orestone View in Goodrington in the summer.
