Staff from local housebuilder Linden Homes’ regional office in Chelmsford helped bring some new year cheer to Little Havens Children’s Hospice in Thundersley, Essex, by donating new toys for children and their families that use its services.
Mick Laws, Managing Director at Linden Homes Eastern, met Grant Peters, Community Fundraiser for North Essex, at the hospice, to deliver the toys to the children, meet staff and see the invaluable work done at the centre.

“We are pleased to be able to support the vital services provided by Little Havens for children and their families in Essex. The hospice offers a homely and relaxed atmosphere and we hope the toys donated by Linden Homes’ staff will be enjoyed by all the children and visitors. I look forward to building on our relationship with the charity in the future.”
Grant Peters, Community Fundraiser for North Essex at Little Havens Children’s Hospice, adds:
“Little Havens cares for children throughout Essex who have a life-limiting illness and it is our aim to make every day count for those we look after. The toys Linden Homes has donated will most definitely be enjoyed by our children and their siblings and keep them entertained when they visit us for a break.
