LOCAL MP Andrea Leadsom was hosted by award-winning Linden Homes at its Roman View development in Greens Norton following a visit held last week.
The scheme of 49 new homes, situated on the south-eastern edge of the village, is now entering the final stages of completion by the Peterborough-baded house builder and includes one, two, three and four bedroom properties.
At a specially arranged visit, Mrs Leadsom was accompanied on a tour of the site by Linden’s Technical Director for the region, Barry Maynard, before visiting the show home.
During the discussions, Mr Maynard outlined the background to the development to date, the wider planning process and some of the challenges now associated with it.
Following the visit, Mrs Leadsom said: “I feel it is important to meet with developers who are building new homes in South Northants, and I was glad of the opportunity to see how this development is progressing.”
Barry Maynard commented: “We appreciated the time that Mrs Leadsom took to visit our Roman View scheme and were pleased to also have the chance to discuss wider industry matters.”
