Linden Homes Thanks Stakeholders At Exclusive Event
20 Jan 2012

Over 40 special guests attended an exclusive event at Linden Homes and Wates developments’ Reflection project in Chichester last week. The housebuilders were joined by consultants and specialists who have played an important part in making the scheme happen.

The development is situated next to the Chichester Ship Canal and just minutes from the city centre, making the location idyllic. Reflection is just a few miles from Chichester Harbour which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and boasts some of Britain’s most popular boating waters, plus a network of footpaths and a cycle route through the countryside.

The new showhome, a three-storey townhouse, was opened by guest’s Vice Chairman and District Councillor, Mr Graham Hicks, Wates developments’ Land and Planning Manager Meryl Baker and Chairman of the Canal Trust, Linda Wilkinson.

All commented on how pleased they were with the scheme, Mr Hicks, said: “The council welcomes such a positive redevelopment in this area of Chichester. The site is thoughtfully designed and will provide much needed quality homes for this popular city.”

Linda Wilkinson, added: “Linden Homes is building a new two-storey centre for the Trust, which will include a modern cafeteria and replace our somewhat tired facilities. We will be able to move in later this year and we’re very much looking forward to welcoming all the new residents.”

Sales and Marketing Director at Linden Homes Southern, Mark Docherty, lead proceedings on the day. Mark said: “We’re pleased so many people could celebrate with us and this event is a token of our appreciation. We’re hoping to continue our sales success in 2012 with the launch of the new townhouses. The apartments at the development have already proved extremely popular, with three blocks reserved.”

Reflection consists of a variety of townhouses and apartments. The development is close to the heart of this vibrant and culture-rich maritime city and is perfectly located for commuters;  Chichester train station is within easy walking distance, while the A27 is a stone’s throw away and leads to Brighton, in the east, or to London via the M27 and the A3(M). Additionally, Southampton Airport is 30 miles away; while Gatwick and Heathrow airports are just 50 and 70 miles away respectively.
