Linden Homes’ Land and Planning team has seen a welcome boost with Yuved Bheenick being promoted to Land and Planning Director, following a year of notable successes for the business’ South region.
Yuved brings almost 10 years’ experience to the role as Land and Planning Director having previously worked with two of the major housebuilders across London and South-East. He holds experience in identifying new land opportunities and obtaining planning permissions for sites ranging between twenty and 2,000 units which he has been applying at Linden Homes since his appointment as Senior Land Manger in 2017.
Yuved said: “Linden Homes’ ambitious growth plans really attracted me to the business. I also quickly identified that there was a great opportunity to further develop my career through building and managing a new team whilst also applying my previous knowledge and experience to drive the land ambitions of the region.”
Since joining the South region for Linden Homes, Yuved has built a team comprising of a Senior Planning Manager, Land Manager and Land Trainee: “Since starting with Linden Homes, I have achieved my target of building a really strong and capable team which led to the acquisition of two development sites within my first six months of joining the company. It’s great that this has been recognised with my promotion to Director within the year of working at Linden Homes.”
The role as Land and Planning Director will welcome Yuved to the Board of Management seeing his greater involvement in the day to day running of the regional business unit whilst ensuring the drive of acquisition of news sites and delivery of planning consents.
Yuved concluded: “Naturally, one of my key ambitions is to ensure that as a team we are acquiring development opportunities and sites that align with Linden Homes’ growth plans. I’m excited to see what this year brings to the region and being involved in a more senior capacity.”
