Linden Homes has been helping to raise some laughs by supporting Dartmouth’s 8th Comedy Festival at The Flavel, which has been well received by its audiences.
Lisa Chandler, programme and marketing manager at The Flavel said: “Linden Homes sponsored Lucy Porter’s show, which was a really great event. People look forward to the comedy festival every year and we had some fantastic comedians perform but it is expensive, so we’re very grateful for all the support.”
The 8th Dartmouth Comedy Festival featured Lucy Porter, Carl Donnelly, Romesh Ranganathan, impressionist Luke Kempner, Sean Hughes, Matt Harvey, Slightly Fat Features, Patrick Monahan and Carly Smallman.
The celebration ran from 4th – 8th March and was hosted by the Flavel Theatre and venues around Dartmouth. As well as stand-up there were also variety performances and shows for children.
Nigel Palmer, managing director for Linden Homes said: “We’ve supported the comedy festival for a few years now and we’re proud to have played our part in helping it go ahead. Supporting events like this is important not just for the community to enjoy it but also as a way of attracting visitors to the area.”
