Last Few Remaining Homes At Rosewood Mill In West End
11 Dec 2013

There are now just very few remaining homes still available at Linden Homes’ popular Rosewood Mill development in the village of West End on the outskirts of Southampton.

Each of these homes demonstrate the typical high specification and great design that is characteristic of all Linden Homes.

But at Rosewood Mill, Linden Homes has gone further: With these homes there are some thoughtful extra touches and new details that offer more security, a greener approach and even more choice.

Each home has been wired for Sky Plus*, fitted with solar panels to the roof, a water butt and a whirligig washing line. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed to make your life easier and more energy efficient.

The other great attraction of the Rosewood Mill homes is the excellent location: The homes have been created around and alongside green areas: There is a small wood, a couple of copses and a pond.

It is conveniently close to Southampton and all of the associated commuter links; the commercial centre; the shops; restaurants and bars. But from Rosewood Mill it is also very easy to escape into the countryside – the development is close to Allington Lane, which winds itself around fields and farms all the way up to Fair Oak and flanks the beautiful Itchen Valley Country Park.

If you are thinking about buying a new home at Rosewood Mill, but are put off by the thought of the hassle of a house move, have a look at the Linden Homes’ Part Exchange Scheme*.

This has been a very useful tool for lots of Linden Homes’ customers who have an existing home to sell: Under the scheme, Linden Homes becomes your guaranteed buyer – and takes on the task of having your existing property valued and marketed while you concentrate on buying your new home. You won’t have to get involved with viewings, or estate agent fees – and there are no fragile property chains to threaten your moving plans.

Several of our customers have told us that knowing some of the stress and frustration of selling would be removed actually inspired them to go ahead with plans to buy a new home: Neal Archbold, who bought a four bedroom Linden Home in the summer says the Part Exchange Scheme worked really well for him:

“It was so easy – it really was. It is so much simpler to move house when you don’t have to worry about one entire side of the process. All we had to do was make an offer on our new Linden home and the rest just followed.”

Alternatively, you may want to investigate the Help to Buy Scheme** currently on offer from the Government.

The first part of Help to Buy (launched last spring) is a Government led equity scheme that is only available for new build properties. The scheme is run through participating house builders, like Linden Homes.

Buyers need to find a 5% deposit but can borrow a further 20% from the Government interest free, up to a value of £120,000.
