Keen golfers from Linden Homes Midlands got firmly into the swing of fundraising as they tee-d off for their annual charity Golf Day.
Now a key date in the house builder’s annual social calendar, the event saw directors, staff, sub-contractors and suppliers taking to the fairway at Greetham Valley Golf Club.
This year, the developer was raising money for the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and a donation of over £9,600 was presented to the charity. This included donations from Maypine Groundworks and L&G Carpenty.
Linden Homes production director Rob Spittles said: “We had a fantastic day and congratulations to the winning team, KJW.
“We are delighted with the £9,677 the event raised for a very worthy cause. My personal thanks to members of the Linden Homes team for the amount of time and effort put into the day it was a great success for a great charity.”
Past beneficiaries of the event have included the Steps charity – a conductive education centre which provides specialist nursery services and support to children with motor disorders and their families, and Peterborough’s Little Miracles.
