It's Not Too Early To Think About Spending Summer In A Brand New Home
10 Feb 2016

If you are putting off moving house until winter is over, you don’t have to wait until summer to reserve your brand new home.

With over 60 per cent of the homes now sold at Linden Homes Midlands’ popular Centurion Grove development in Burton Latimer, prospective buyers are being urged not to miss their chance to snap up one of the remaining four-bedroom family homes.

Imagine spending summer in a superb new home; with a spacious garden creating the ideal space for relaxing, the children to play in or to entertain friends with al fresco dining.

Perfectly positioned close to the town centre and with access to open spaces and country walks all on the doorstep, a reservation at Burton Latimer can help beat the winter blues.

There is also the chance for customers to curb the cost of moving through a number of incentives, including Help to Buy and Assisted Move.

Here’s how they work:

  • Under Help to Buy, you only need a five per cent deposit. The government will lend you up to 20 per cent of the value of the property through an equity loan, which can be repaid at any time or on the sale of your home. So, you will only need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage from a bank or building society.
  • Assisted Move allows you to find a buyer for your existing property with the help of Linden Homes. They will deal with estate agents and pay all their fees, helping you to get the best price for it. By using Assisted Move – Linden Homes can help you sell your existing home, allowing you to buy a bigger home for your money through Help to Buy.

Linden Homes sales manager Tracey Gibson said: “It may be that a number of people know they want to move home this year, but are putting off doing something actively about it until the better weather.

“However, we would suggest that now is the perfect time to think about a summer move, particular at Centurion Grove where family homes have been selling fast, and the remaining four-bedroom properties will be ready to move into ahead of the summer and the long school holidays.”

Meanwhile, if a new home is on the cards – but not quite yet – there is the opportunity to register your interest for a brand new 199 home development at nearby Higham Road in Burton Latimer.

Due to be launched this Spring, Buckby Grange will comprise a collection of three-bedroom homes designs in traditional two-storey and stylish three-storey town house designs – along with a mix of four and five-bedroom detached homes.
