Preparing to join hundreds of other fundraisers on the Race For Life starting line next month is a team from Linden Homes Midlands.
Calling themselves the ‘Linden Lovelies’, staff from the house builder’s Peterborough-based head office will be running and walking the 5km race at Ferry Meadows in Peterborough on 8 July.
The team includes staff from the sales, customer care, finance and commercial areas of the Linden Homes business, all of who will be raising funds for Cancer Research UK.
Linden Homes marketing manager Victoria Barlow said: “A team from Linden Homes Midlands took part in the Race for Life in 2012, so we thought it was time we got together to support the event again this year.
“Cancer touches so many lives and while we know it will be an emotionally charged event, the atmosphere is always so amazing and we are all delighted to be taking part.”
