Linden Homes Western opened a series of new food bank collection points in December and January to help those in need.
The housebuilder invited local businesses, schools and residents to get involved in its work to collect non-perishable food after the festive period. The additional food bank collection points were opened at Linden Homes’ head office in Clifton and its new developments at:
Sue Scholfield, sales and marketing director for Linden Homes Western, commented: “We were delighted with the amount of food donated, some developments managed to collect more than others but it was fantastic to see the local communities working together.
“There is often a drive to help charities in the run-up to Christmas and so we wanted to offer some additional support afterwards. We’d like to thank everyone who helped and as it was a successful initiative, I can definitely see us doing it again.”
Linden Homes is currently creating new homes at Bitton, Thornbury, Bath, Salisbury, Ashchurch, Westbury and Bishop’s Cleeve.
