Heath Wood Show House Opening Coincides With Rescue Dog Advertising Star...

...Finding Her Own Forever Home

A puppy born to an RSCPA rescue dog has found new owners just weeks after winning a competition to be the face of top five housebuilder Linden Homes’ advertising campaign for a luxury development in the West Sussex village of Felbridge.

Dotty the crossbreed has been reserved ready to be picked up by the family of her new forever home – just as the show house opens its doors to visitors at the exclusive Heath Wood collection of spacious five-bedroom private properties.

Dotty – who was born into kennels at the South Godstone Animal Centre, in Surrey – won Linden Homes’ competition for people and organisations to submit photos of their dogs to become the hero of marketing materials seen by thousands of househunters.

“It’s very sweet that just as we launch our show home at Heath Wood where Dotty had her photoshoot, she’s also caught the eye of her new owners. It’s wonderful news,” said Natalie Flint, Linden Homes Guildford sales and marketing director.

“I hope our competition played a part in finding her a new home. She looked beautiful in the photos and she was a perfect character to tell the kind of aspirational family story that we think really suits the beautifully finished show home.”

The five-bedroom show home – a property in the Hedgecourt style – is luxuriously appointed and has 3,711 square feet of floorspace across two storeys to give a generous spread for the busiest household.

The rooms have been dressed to exemplify the sumptuous lifestyle on offer from the fusion of quality specification, dream location and stunning surroundings.

The heart of the home is a kitchen/breakfast/family area opening into the garden, with the added luxury of a media room, study, pantry and utility room. A spacious living room, dining room and cloakroom complete the ground floor.

Upstairs, dressing rooms and en suite bathrooms serve bedroom two and the master bedroom – which exclusively surveys the garden from a Juliette balcony. An en suite also joins bedroom three.

The show home was where Dotty the dog had her photos taken for a campaign that featured in newspaper advertising, online and in leaflets and posters.

Darren Parrish, the manager of South Godstone Animal Centre where she was born, added: “Not only are we thrilled that Dotty won the competition, but the fact that she has also found a new home within weeks is just brilliant.

“Dotty is a delightful dog and I’m sure she is going to have a wonderful life with her new owners. I’d like to thank Linden Homes for their support and helping to make it happen.”

Heath Wood is divided into two private cul-de-sacs set back from a peaceful country lane bordering the High Weald, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It’s executive living at its finest within homes showcasing high quality craftsmanship.

Two miles away is the bustling and popular market town of East Grinstead, which has a train service direct to Waterloo in one hour and 14 minutes. There are also stations at Dormans 2.5 miles away and Lingfield, just under 3.5 miles away.
