Graylingwell Park Offers Gavin And His Family An Ideal Home Within Stunning Parkland Near Chichester
06 Jun 2013

Having sold his four-bedroom home in Chichester town centre, South African-born Gavin Wilson was searching for a family home that would suit him and his wife Julia, along with their three young children that they could all move into straight away. A four-bedroom three-storey home set in beautiful parkland by Linden Homes at Graylingwell Park fitted the bill exactly.

Gavin purchased his new home, having fallen in love with the green development after his initial visit.

He says: “Living at Graylingwell Park has worked out perfectly for us; we are only a 15-minute drive from my business, Crouchers Hotel, plus both my family and the children’s school in Singleton are within convenient distances.

“I was instantly drawn to the open spaces surrounding Graylingwell Park and living here has beaten all expectations that I had before moving in. It really is a lovely place to live and the best value for money that I could find in the area – it offers us the best of all worlds. Having access to the countryside is fantastic; I wouldn’t want to go back to living in the town centre.”

Julia continues: “The house itself is very impressive, particularly the three-storey layout which has been so well designed. All of the rooms are so large and spacious, which makes such a difference with three children running around!

“With young children, it was not always easy living in the town centre but now they can go out on their bikes whenever they want and Gavin is always out running in the countryside at the weekends, it really makes a difference having the space on our doorstep.”

The outstanding new development, at the site of a former hospital, is set in 85 acres of extensive parkland and is only around a mile from Chichester city centre. It is being developed jointly by Linden Homes, Affinity Sutton and the Homes & Communities Agency and is the UK’s largest carbon neutral scheme.

All of the homes are fitted with impressive energy saving features including high levels of insulation and heating and hot water supplied to all homes by a central heat and power plant.

Help to Buy is available on selected homes, the new government scheme means buyers can purchase a new home for just 75% of the price, with only a 5% deposit. The remaining 20% is a loan from the government, which is interest free for the first five years. Please contact Linden Homes on 01243 78149.
