4 million children live in poverty across the UK, with one in three children living below the poverty line. For these families, Christmas is a luxury they just cannot afford.
To ensure children across the North West have a happy Christmas, staff at Galliford Try Partnerships and Linden Homes’ North West division have signed up to Key 103 Cash for Kids Mission Christmas - and we need your help.
While you’re busy thinking of gifts for your loved ones, we’re calling on all staff to buy one extra present no matter how small, that can be given to a disadvantaged child to make their Christmas morning special.
We don’t expect you to spend a lot, but we’re looking for new and unwrapped gifts suitable for children and young people aged 0-18 years. The North West division has also committed to contribute one toy for every 10 contributed by staff.
Donated gifts can be dropped off at the companies drop off points – Innovation House, Birchwood, Warrington or New Brunswick’s sales and marketing suite, Brunswick, Manchester. The last date for collection will be 15th December.
Every gift or money raised locally stays local. So you can be sure that your gift and cash donations will directly benefit a North West child with a minimum of 80p from every pound donated going to the children.
With your help, the Mission Christmas campaign will bring the magic of Christmas to more children this Christmas Day.
