While the Christmas jumpers have been banished for another year, Linden Homes North found time to do an additional bit of fundraising to round off 2015!
Teams from a number of Linden Homes departments at the head office in Hessle and at the Wetherby office collected the cash by sporting their most creative festive woollies to work in the Text Santa Christmas Jumper Day.
Around £135 was raised on the day. Linden Homes North sales manager Julie Hubbard said: “We had a fabulous selection of jumpers and everyone really got behind the idea to have fun and raise money for some great causes at the same time.”
Text Santa is a charity initiative set up in 2011 by ITV to support UK-based charities during the Christmas period. Those benefiting from the £8.5 million raised from the 2015 event include Save the Children, Macmillan Cancer support and Make-a-Wish UK.
