As part of the 2012 celebrations to mark the 30th year of Roald Dahl’sThe BFG, the developer has paid homage to the author by dedicating one of its show home bedrooms to some of his fantastical characters.
Hand painted murals depicting scenes from James and the Giant Peach are a focal and talking point at the Nottinghamshire Bluebell development in Bingham – not to mention the cuddly fox!
Sales director Chris Roads said: “We obviously want to capture the imagination of our show home visitors at all our sites, but when we launched this development in the summer we wanted a fun focal point – and the inspired decision was to use Roald Dahl, whose characters provoke people’s imaginations, whatever their age.”
A range of three and four-bedroom homes make up the development, which have been carefully designed to meet the growing demand of new homes customers and cater for a selection of needs and budgets - including families.
