Staff at Linden Homes’ Cholsey Meadows development, in Cholsey, are collecting donations for their 2014 Christmas appeal. This year, staff, residents and members of the public are being invited to donate toys for Oxford Children’s hospital.
It’s hoped the gifts will brighten up the festive season for those children who are unable to go home for Christmas this year.
Naomi Wellman, marketing and communications manager at Linden Homes Chiltern, says donations – which can be toys, games or other gifts – can be dropped off at the sales and marketing suite on site.
“Don’t worry about wrapping them – we can do that – and we would need to see what the gifts are, so we can make sure they go to the right child. We’ll be taking all the presents to the hospital close to Christmas and staff will be handing out the presents to the children. We hope it will add a little extra sparkle to the wards this Christmas.”
You can take donations to Cholsey Meadows’ sales and marketing suite: It’s open every day from 10am to 5pm. If you prefer, you can give us a call first on 0844 417 3895.
