Linden Homes – part of Vistry Group – has donated £250 to the Bishops Cleeve Colts under 9s football team.
The contribution from the housebuilder, who’s regional Cotswold office is based in Bishops Cleeve, was used to purchase the team’s new kit, to kick start the new season. The housebuilder has plans to build in the area too.
James Stephens, Bishops Cleeve Colts under 9s manager, said: “The team is delighted to be playing in the Cheltenham Youth League in their new kit sponsored by Linden Homes, – they had outgrown their last kit during lockdown!
“They have got off to a flying start this season with four wins already under their belt! The team is also delighted to be playing at their new home at Bishops Cleeve Football Club on Kayte Lane, so this new kit marks the perfect fresh start.”
Nicola Goldsmith, sales and marketing director for Vistry Cotswolds, added: “It is wonderful to be able to support this local team. We know that sports clubs like this are at the heart of the local community and with Linden Homes progressing plans in the area, it seems fitting to sponsor a valued, local team.
“The under 9s look very professional in their new kit and we wish them all the best of luck for the new season.”
