Bingham Welcomes Becks And Blues As Football Fever Grips New Homes Site
19 Jun 2012

AN afternoon of Beckham and Blues is in store for visitors to Linden Homes’ new Bingham development to celebrate the climax of the Euro 2012 Championships.

The new and exciting 60 home Bluebell site in the bustling Nottinghamshire market town is gearing up for football fever on Sunday, July 1 – with some special guests to help celebrate the first public launch of the development.

An afternoon of family footballing fun kicks off at 12.30pm, with music from a live Blues Band and the chance to rub shoulders with David Beckham himself – thanks to leading professional lookalike Andy Harmer – who will also be showing off some soccer skills.

Linden Homes also has some great prizes up for grabs for youngsters who turn up to the development sporting their favourite football kit.

Attractions during the event, which runs from 12.30pm - 2.30pm include:

  • Come and meet ‘Becks’
  • Live music
  • Face painting
  • Football themed goodie bags
  • Competition to guess the time of the first goal scored in the Euro 2012 Final – top prize is a tour around a premiership ground of the winner’s choice.
  • Two runner up prizes of football shirts of the winners’ chosen team.
  • Refreshments
  • The chance to look around the development’s recently opened show home.

A range of two and three-bedroom homes will make up the development, which have been carefully designed to meet the growing demand of new homes customers and cater for a selection of needs and budgets.

The homes will be suitable for everyone from first time buyers and young professional to families.

Linden Homes area sales manager Karen Pitcher said: “Since our official opening at the end of May, we’ve been delighted with the volume of interest in our new homes and we’re thrilled to be able to showcase the development further during our special football themed event on July 1.”

The town is well served by four infant, junior and primary schools as well as a secondary school. South Nottingham College also has a campus in the town.

From school to work, and Bingham commuters are well served by the A52 and A46 road network into nearby Nottingham, Newark and Grantham.
