The Naze, as well as being a natural open space, is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, famed for its fossils found in the Red Crag cliffs. You can enjoy a stunning variety of wildlife on one of the 2 hour Wildlife Boat Trips around the beautiful backwaters, or step back in time at the Walton Maritime Museum. Naze Tower is an 86ft historic landmark dramatically situated on the cliffs and houses a museum showcasing the history of the Tower and the Naze, with tea rooms and an art gallery. There’s walking trails galore, with the option to take a guided walk to learn more about the history and wildlife in and around Walton.

Clacton-on-Sea

If you’re after traditional seaside entertainment with a modern twist, Clacton-on-Sea is the perfect destination.
