Why make Buckinghamshire your home?

If you’re searching for a new home in Buckinghamshire, you’ll find there’s a great deal to be discovered in this beautiful county.

With excellent transport links to London, wonderful countryside views and a whole host of exciting activities to keep the whole family entertained, Buckinghamshire is the perfect place to call home.

For those who love to shop, Buckinghamshire is home to several market towns, such as Aylesbury, Chesham and Buckingham, selling an assortment of goods, clothing and delicious local food produce. For a modern high street shopping experience, take a trip to Centre:MK, the largest shopping centre in Milton Keynes and home to more than 200 shops and restaurants.

History enthusiasts will find a plethora of places to explore, such as Bletchley Park, home to the secret codebreakers of WWII, and the Hellfire Caves in West Wycombe - the alleged meeting place of Sir Francis Dashwood’s underground Hellfire Club. At Amersham Museum, visitors can discover how the simple 16th-century market town has evolved through the ages to become the place it is today.

The whole family will find magic and inspiration galore at the Roald Dahl Museum in Great Missenden. Delve into the marvellous imagination of one of Britain’s best-loved children’s authors, and indulge in a scrumdiddlyumptious afternoon tea!

Getting in, around and out of Buckinghamshire

These stunning new homes in Buckinghamshire benefit from excellent transport links both in and around the county.

The M1, M25 and M40 all pass through or close to the county, providing easy access to Reading, Oxford, Cambridge and several other major UK cities in the north of the country. Journeys from High Wycombe to central London can be completed in around an hour via the M40.

Buckinghamshire’s excellent railway network means journeys within and beyond the county are really simple. Many stations within the county operate services to London Marylebone, all in under an hour, with services from Beaconsfield station getting travellers into the City in just 22 minutes.

Services to London Euston are also available from Milton Keynes and have an approximate journey time of 35 minutes. There are also routes to the West Midlands, North Wales, north-west England and central Scotland courtesy of Virgin Trains.
