Burghfield Football Club’s under 13s are sporting a new kit thanks to a Reading-based housebuilder.
Vistry Thames Valley, whose offices are located on Thames Valley Parkway in the town, has contributed £900 to the club as part of a two-year sponsorship deal.
The housebuilder is part of the Vistry Group, which includes Linden Homes, Bovis Homes and Vistry Partnerships.
The agreement will see the under 13s wearing a brand-new strip displaying the Vistry Group logo throughout the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons. It extends the partnership between Vistry and the club to four years, as the company also sponsored the team’s kit for the previous two seasons.
Burghfield Football Club, otherwise known as The Fielders, is a non-profit organisation founded in 1989 that now boasts over 40 teams, starting from under fours. The Fielders also introduced its first all-women’s team last year and is looking to introduce a second side next season.
James Kelly, sponsorship officer for Burghfield FC, said: “Vistry’s support has been incredibly helpful. Because of them we are able to keep our membership costs down and make football accessible for our members. All of us at Burghfield Football Club are very grateful - we really couldn’t do it without them.
“We are currently saving for our own clubhouse as we currently have to use local schools and other pitches in the area. Vistry’s support means we can put the funds from membership fees towards saving for our own facility instead of providing kits.
“I have no doubt I speak for the whole age group when I say that we look forward to working very
closely with Vistry again next season and I know our players will wear the Vistry branded kits
with pride.”

Vistry Thames Valley is building under the Linden Homes and Bovis Homes brands at locations across Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Surrey and Buckinghamshire.
