View our video: A young family in East Yorkshire are the first in the country to reserve a new-build property using a housebuilder’s innovative online system.
Adam and Lisa Jones used Linden Homes’ digital sales portal to reserve a spacious three-bedroom home at the South Minster Pastures location in Beverley.
The portal includes a simple six-step process to move from registering personal details to reserving a home and paying the deposit.

Adam, who is moving just half a mile into his new-build home, off Minster Way, with Lisa and their two children, said: “The online portal was so straightforward, it was easy to log on and Linden Homes staff at South Minster Pastures were really helpful in taking me through the whole process.
“I didn't have to travel or fill in lots of paperwork, the portal has been so simple and easy. When our solicitor asked for a document, I was able to go into the portal on my iPad, download a copy and send it on straight away – it's very quick to use."
The family's Bentley townhouse boasts an open-plan kitchen and family room on the ground level, a generous lounge with a balcony on the first floor, and will give the youngsters, aged 12 and 13, their own floor.
