Vistry Group has formed a partnership with Evera Homes, owned by Hyde, Longhurst, Cross Keys and Flagship, acquiring a new location in Cambridgeshire to build nearly 700 homes.
The partnership has acquired a 70-acre site at Grange Lane, Littleport, which will offer 680 new homes, both for open market sale and as affordable housing, in a wide range of home styles – under Vistry’s Bovis Homes and Linden Homes brands – from apartments and bungalows, through to a variety of two, three and four-bedroom houses.
Vistry is set to start building 360 homes later this year after a reserved matters application is submitted in the coming weeks.
Verity MacMahon, land director at Vistry, said: “Vistry is really excited to have exchanged on this Littleport site and we’re looking forward to building in partnership with Evera. The development will be dual-branded so home buyers will have the benefit of a wide choice of both Bovis and Linden properties from our latest collections.”

The homes will be supported by community facilities including retail units, a community hall and structured open space characterised by retained hedgerows and a community orchard. Contracts were exchanged with the landowners in January 2021 and completion is due in February 2021. The site has an outline planning permission and, subject to the receipt of a reserved matters consent, construction is due to commence by the end of 2021, with the first homes available for occupation in late 2022.
