The Camo-mile Community Challenge: Go The Extra Mile For Your Local Club Or Charity

Linden Homes is launching a community challenge that the whole of Totnes is encouraged to take part in.

The company has built a path from Home Reach Avenue (just off Weston Lane) to link its new homes at Camomile Lawn with Steamer Quay and they’ve created a mile long route so people can time themselves!

Entry is free for the Camo-Mile Community Challenge, the only restrictions are that you need to:

  • book in advance
  • enter on behalf of a local charity, club/organisation or school
  • take part between Saturday 25th February and 30th March
  • ensure your time is logged

The new path will be officially launched on Friday 24th February and entrants can choose if they’ll walk, run, or cycle the course. Each group will be entered into a draw for a chance to win one of five £200 prizes to their community group/nominated charity/school. There will also be a prize of £200 for the most unusual way to complete the route – anything goes – from unicycle to pogo stick!
