Soak Away The Winter Blues With A Boast-worthy Beautiful New Bathroom
24 Jan 2022

Whether you bask in the glory of a constantly sparkling bathroom or give it a quick once over when you feel like it ?" the nation’s bathroom cleaning habits have long been a talking point.

Love it or loathe it, cleaning the bathroom can be a chore that slips down the list, as research has discovered.

According to data*:

  • The dirtiest part of the bathroom is most likely to be the towel rail, with 29 per cent of survey respondents saying they clean it once a week. Only 11 percent of respondents said they clean it once a month.
  • Only 17 per cent said they clean their bathroom radiator, while another seven per cent admitted they never clean their radiators.
  • More than a third of people said they clean their toilet seat daily, making it the most cleaned item in the bathroom.
  • 29 per cent said they scrub down their sink each day.
  • Six per cent of people said they never clean their door handles, 13 per cent clean them daily and 26 per cent weekly.
  • Less than a third (30 per cent) clean the plug hole and bathtub once a week.
  • Just over a quarter (28 per cent) clean the toilet basin every day.

However, homeowners moving to one of Linden Homes’ development across Yorkshire can reap the many benefits of a newbuild property, not least a shiny, energy efficient bathroom that will have them and their guests flushed with pride.

Marketing manager Megan Marshall said: “We all love the idea of a beautiful bathroom straight from the pages of a magazine.

“In reality, as the property ages ?" so does the bathroom, and possibly its aesthetic appeal. Bathrooms, along with kitchens, have often been the focal point for home hunters viewing their next potential house.

“The bathroom space or layout in older or second-hand properties may not be to everyone’s taste, or even meet the needs of those moving in, but a brand-new Linden Homes bathroom ticks all the boxes.

“And what’s more, our new homes also come with downstairs cloakroom and ensuite facilities. This is great for families all wanting to use the bathroom in the morning as well as being convenient for the many people working from home.”

Contemporary white sanitary ware is installed in all Linden Homes bathrooms, ensuites and cloakrooms. Other features include:

  • Soft close seat and covers to all toilets.
  • Tiled shower cubicle with silver framed clear glass door.
  • Dual flush feature on all toilers to help save water.
