Show Home Opens At New Location In Bishops Cleeve

House-hunters are now able to explore a brand-new show home at a location in Bishops Cleeve.

The doors to the new four-bedroom Pembroke house have been thrown open at Linden Homes’ Woodland View, off Gotherington Lane in the village.

Vistry Group, which builds homes under the Linden Homes brand, is building 65 new properties at the development, where there will be 39 homes for private sale, including a mix of two, three and four-bedroom houses, and 26 affordable homes for local people through rent and shared ownership.

The housebuilder unveiled the show home to the public at a launch day at the site on Saturday 30 April.

Charles Bond, sales manager for Woodland View, said: “There has been a lot of interest in Woodland View right from the outset and we were extremely busy over the launch weekend. It was very pleasing to see so many people over the weekend where they were able to enjoy the free drinks from an artisan coffee van and nibbles, and chat to our sales staff.

“The opening of the Pembroke show home was the first opportunity for prospective purchasers to visit the development and see for themselves the high level of craftsmanship that is a hallmark of the homes at Woodland View.

“The Pembroke is an ideal family home with an open-plan kitchen/dining room with French doors that lead onto the back garden, a generously sized living room, a study and a utility room. Upstairs, the main bedroom has an en suite while there are three further bedrooms and a family bathroom. This represents the spacious and flexible layout designed to accommodate today’s modern family lifestyle.”

Under the terms of the planning agreement, Vistry Cotswolds, part of Vistry Group which includes Linden Homes, Bovis Homes and Vistry Partnerships, is contributing more than £800,000 to help improve local services.

These contributions include £352,676 towards primary education, £314,003 for secondary education, £129,028 for pre-school education, £12,740 for libraries and £4,745 for recycling and waste.

Charles said: “We are delivering a selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes to cater for people at various stages of the property ladder, from those looking to buy their first home to people downsizing after retirement. The location itself is proving very attractive as it is within walking distance of the village centre which has shops, cafes, pubs, a post office, a bakery and supermarkets.

“The idyllic setting in the Cotswolds countryside is just a few miles from Cheltenham, and commuters can also benefit from good transport links to Gloucester, Worcester, Oxford and Bristol.”

There is currently a selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes available to reserve at Woodland View.
