The first phase of the Laithwaite Gardens development in Sutton is coming to an end with just three homes left to sell.
Linden Homes, part of the Vistry Group, is delivering 77 new homes in phase one of the development off Mepal Road, including 23 affordable homes for rent or shared ownership.
Two of the final three homes remaining at Laithwaite Gardens are both The Collcutt house type – a five-bedroom property, available to move into before the end of the year.
The final home, The Kempthorne, a four-bedroom, two-storey home, will be released for sale in the coming months.
Laura Thomas, Sales Manager for Laithwaite Gardens, said: “Phase one of Laithwaite Gardens has been incredibly successful, thanks partly to its excellent village location within easy reach of amenities such as shops, a GP surgery and local pub.
“Two of the final houses for sale are the beautiful three-storey Collcutt homes that are both practical and stylish, especially for growing families or those in need of extra space.
“The Collcutt is perfect for outdoor entertaining in the summer months with French doors leading out into the garden, while it also provides owners with enough space to accommodate work commitments or for hosting guests.”
Construction work on phase one at Laithwaite Gardens will be completed next year.
The development will include public open space, a cycle path and a children’s play area. Land for a burial ground, sports pitches and a new village green will also be provided in the next phase of the development.
Laura said: “Plans have already been approved for phase two at Laithwaite Gardens, which will bring £2.9 million in funding for local infrastructure.
“After the success of phase one, we are now looking forward to getting started on phase two and delivering more much-needed new homes to Sutton.”
Phase two at Laithwaite Gardens will be built on a 38-acre parcel of land and will include 112 homes for private sale and 52 affordable properties. A further nine plots will be created for self-build homes.
