Home Reach Explained At Church Walk Event
10 Jan 2020

Homebuyers will have the opportunity to learn more about the popular new scheme that’s helping thousands of people afford the space they need.

Linden Homes is holding a Home Reach event at its Church Walk development in Newton Abbot on Saturday 18th January to explain how homebuyers may be able to move to a beautiful new home, even if they think it may be out of reach.

Visitors will be able to speak to an independent financial advisor and an expert on Home Reach, view the gorgeous show home and enjoy some refreshments.

The leading housebuilder is working in partnership with heylo to offer the part-buy-part-rent scheme on selected homes. Wayne Bennett, director of Home Reach, said: “Home Reach can enable people to secure their perfect home when they didn’t think it was possible, by taking out a mortgage for part of the property and paying a low rent on the other portion.”

Dawn, 55, is an NHS senior healthcare assistant at Barnstaple Hospital and bought a two bedroom apartment at Montbray in Barnstaple. She commented: “I’ve had a great experience moving with Linden Homes and Home Reach has enabled me to get the extra space I need. I have a mortgage on 50 per cent of my home and pay a low monthly rent on the other half. It’s a fantastic scheme and I love the flexibility it provides, as I can easily pay more into the property at any time but know it is mine and that I’ve invested wisely.

“Home Reach has given me the opportunity to buy a new home and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve had a great experience and want to shout about it so others are aware of how helpful the scheme is – I couldn’t have moved without it.”

Emma Colin, sales and marketing director at Linden Homes, said: “Home Reach works so well for people who need a bit more space for their money, while offering them flexibility and security.

“It’s easy to do the maths yourself and think owning your own home or affording the space you need is out of the question, but there are so many initiatives that can help - if you need to raise a bigger deposit, have a property to sell or need lower mortgage repayments – visit us to find out more, you could be moving to a fantastic new home in 2020.”

Church Walk is located near Highweek on the leafy outskirts of Newton Abbot and features a stunning collection of three and four bedroom homes with Home Reach at a 25 per cent share.

The event is taking place from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 18th January in the Church Walk sales and marketing suite, just off Exeter Road, Newton Abbot, TQ12 6PP. Call 01626 221 688 to book your place or for more information visit www.lindenhomes.co.uk
