There are now just four apartments and four houses remaining at Linden Homes’ Millstone Copse development in Hedge End.
The apartments have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a kitchen and living/dining room. There is one ground floor apartment and three others on the first floor. The apartments on the first floor are similar to the ground floor version, but include a balcony.
The houses have three bedrooms and two bathrooms: Two of these homes are end of terrace properties. Each house is designed to include a generous living/dining area and a separate kitchen. These properties which will be ready by autumn come with patio doors into the garden.
Hedge End is very conveniently located: It is only four miles from the centre of Southampton but the local shops are easy to walk to – it can be quicker to walk over to Marks and Spencer than it is to drive! The M27 motorway is close by so Portsmouth and the A3 to London are within easy reach too. It is the perfect solution too for couples who may have to commute in two different directions.
But Hedge End is also surrounded by the beautiful Hampshire countryside – and villages and towns such as Wickham, Botley and Bishop’s Waltham.
All the homes at Millstone Copse qualify for the popular Help to Buy scheme* - a scheme based on an equity loan from the Government: New home buyers (including first time buyers and home movers) can borrow up to 20% of the property price from the Government without being charged loan fees for the first five years.
Crucially for many people – and particularly first time buyers - the all important deposit can work out as little as 5%. The scheme is eligible for all new build properties up to the value of £600,000.
