Dementia Research Funds Boosted By Caring House Building Staff

While many of us are looking ahead to spring and putting the festive season behind us – Linden Homes North is reflecting on its staff’s woolly jumper stunt for a leading charity.

Staff at the developer’s Hessle head office recently donated £116.60 to Alzheimer’s Research UK, to help with the charity’s on going efforts to support pioneering research into dementia.

Teams from a number of Linden Homes departments collected the cash by sporting their most creative Christmas jumpers to the workplace.

Linden Homes North sales manager Julie Hubbard said: “We had a fabulous selection of jumpers and everyone really got behind the idea to have fun and raise money for a great cause at the same time.”

And while the jumpers have been banished to the wardrobe for another year, the charity has sent its thanks to the woolly wearers!

Yosra Osman, corporate partnerships executive at Alzheimer’s Research UK said: “It is due to our supporters’ generous investments in dementia research that we can make such progress. Many thanks to all at Linden Homes North for their support.”
