There are exciting times ahead for Biddenham – with hundreds of new homes on the cards and a brand new primary academy opening its doors this September.
Helping to mark the milestone for the area, Bedford Mayor Dave Hodgson - joined by a number of guests – was invited to a special turf cutting ceremony at the Great Ouse Primary Academy.
The Academy will welcome its first intake of pupils this September. New principal Paul Ives organised the ceremony, also attended by representatives from developers Linden Homes Midlands and Bovis Homes, as well as school construction company, Mi-space (a division of the Midas Group).
Linden Homes is currently building almost 400 new homes – many of them family houses – across its popular St Andrews and St Marys developments in Biddenham.
