“WE USED PART EXCHANGE TO BE NEARER TO OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN”
Moving house can be a long and stressful experience, but not for one couple who took advantage of Linden Homes’ Part Exchange scheme and relocated to be nearer to their children and grandchildren.
Mr and Mrs Robinson moved from Sunderland in the North East. Noreen, a retired headteacher, and her husband Philip, a retired assistant headteacher, bought a three bedroom home at a Linden Homes development at the end of October and moved eight weeks later, in time for Christmas.
Speaking about their move, Noreen said: “We used Part Exchange to be nearer to our children and grandchildren. Having previously lived in a large four bedroom house, we decided to look for a brand new property now that we’ve retired and our old house was valued by a local estate agent that we knew. We didn’t want to worry about maintenance – fixing the roof or having to replace an old boiler – we wanted to relax and downsize.
“Although we didn’t have our home on the market, Linden Homes suggested Part Exchange. Not only did we get a comparable price for our old home that we were happy with, but it gave us peace of mind, meant we could reserve immediately and move quickly.
“The whole process has been unbelievably smooth, we didn’t experience any problems and the level of support we received prior to reservation and after we moved in has been outstanding. We are absolutely thrilled with our new home and can thoroughly recommend Part Exchange – it’s saved us many sleepless nights!”
