Work has officially started on Linden Homes’ Blacksmith’s Green location in Ruddington, just six miles from Nottingham city centre.
Located off Flawforth Lane, Blacksmith’s Green will be home to a collection of 56 two, three, four and five-bedroom properties, green open spaces and a play park. Launching soon, house hunters will be able to book a private appointment, held at Linden Homes’ nearby Edwalton Fields location or over the phone, to find out more.
Louise Macrae, regional marketing manager, said: “We are very excited to have begun work on our new homes at Blacksmith’s Green and are looking forward to launching the development, off Ruddington’s highly sought-after Flawforth Lane.

Based in the rural village of Ruddington, the location is a short distance to the wildlife abundant landscape of Attenborough Nature Reserve, Rushcliffe Country Park and beautiful local countryside. In the village itself, house hunters can expect several pubs, independent shops, a community centre and a village hall, as well great transport links to Nottingham city centre.
Two show homes, the four-bedroom Pembroke and Knightley, are set to open this autumn. Styled by award-winning interior design team Lifestyle Interiors, both show homes will incorporate a classic country feel and take inspiration from the local area.
The name Blacksmith’s Green pays homage to the village’s longstanding connection to the trade; where, at one point, there were five blacksmiths in the area.
