Linden Homes is opening the doors to its St John’s development in Chelmsford – not just to potential customers - but to school children, students, and members of the public.
The doors to St John’s are opening on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th March. Visitors will be taken on a tour of the site, hear a talk from our on-site experts and will be able to take part in a Q&A with some of the Linden Homes’ specialists.
Several school and college groups have already seized the opportunity and booked to go along to one of the open days.
The site’s being opened so visitors can see how a development is created while the Linden Homes’ team will be on hand to explain the process and describe how it works from the planning stages to the finishing touches.
It’s hoped the open door event will be particularly useful for young people who might be considering a career in the building industry:
Karen Roake is the sales and marketing director of Linden Homes Eastern:
“Like other building companies, Linden Homes doesn’t just employ engineers and builders: It has people working across a huge variety of departments including land buying, design, marketing, sales and, of course, the technical building departments. It has specialists overseeing the different stages of a building project – from planning experts to landscape gardeners and everything in between.
“We want to show our young visitors, especially, what a dynamic and varied industry the building industry is. By opening the doors to St John’s, we hope people can get a feel for what we do and the award winning products we construct.”
The sessions on Friday 6th March are fully booked however to book a place on Saturday 7th March and to take part in the Q&A with our on-site experts, please visit: www.opendoorsweekend.co.uk or call 01245 216 220.
