Award-winning local housebuilder, Linden Homes has generously gifted a brand-new football kit to Basingstoke-based junior football team, Hatch Warren Phoenix Embers.
Hatch Warren Phoenix Embers started life just a few years ago as a development team for players who were struggling to get opportunities to play elsewhere. The team is now starting to make its mark and has become a strong side in their own right and sit in the second of three divisions.
The club have come a long way in the past few seasons, reaching the semi-finals of the Plate Cup Competition, and have kicked off strongly this season with a number of victories. The 15 boys, aged between 11-12 who play for the club, will be looking to build on the successes of last season whilst wearing their new kits, courtesy of Linden Homes.
Speaking about the sponsorship, Hatch Warren Phoenix Embers manager, Tom Hartgill said: “The lads are absolutely over the moon with their new kit, the sponsorship money from Linden Homes has made a huge difference.”
