Thanks For The New Path

Parents and Pupils of St Martin’s Primary School in Liskeard were delighted to be able to start the new school year by walking on a new footpath joining Liskarrett Vale and Peppers Park with Lake Lane.

The footpath, constructed by Linden Homes is the result of negotiations with residents. Previously parents have either had to drive their children to school, walk a long way or scramble up and down muddy tracks. ‘The children can now walk to and from school in five minutes’ explained resident Nick Hinchcliff, whose granddaughter Abigail attends St Martins. ‘I had asked if the footpath could be opened for the beginning of this term and Linden Homes got it done in time. I feel quite elated that we’ve managed it.’
