Linden Homes unveils second phase of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes at Exemplar Park
If you thought you had missed your chance to buy a new property at Linden Homes’ very popular Exemplar Park in Aylesbury, then you are very much mistaken.
One year on since its launch, Linden Homes has unveiled the second phase of the sought after Exemplar Park development. The new collection of homes will consist of ninety 2, 3 and 4 bedroom detached, semi-detached and terraced properties, so there is something to suit all needs and tastes.
Those fast off the mark to buy one of the new stunning homes at Exemplar Park will reap all the benefits of buying off-plan. Home-hunters will have the chance to select the plot they want, and moreover personalise their home to suit their taste.
The homes are priced at a level that the Government backed Help to Buy scheme applies, to make the first or second move possible.
Linden Homes Thames Valley managing director, Peter Carpinelli said: “The variety of homes available in phase two at Exemplar Park will undoubtedly attract different types of buyers, ultimately creating a lovely community.
“The development has been a resounding success over the past year and with the new Help to Buy scheme, we are sure that there will be a lot of interested parties wanting to move and set up their home here.”
Help to Buy in particular can give those struggling to save for their first or next move, that additional support to move onto or up the ladder.
It works by the government providing an equity loan of up to 20% of the value of any new-build home worth up to a maximum of £600,000. This can be repaid at any time or when the home is sold. And an added bonus is that there is no interest payable on the loan for five years.
With the equity loan added to their deposit, buyers are in the much better position of only needing to agree a 75 per cent mortgage from a bank or building society to secure their dream home at Exemplar Park.
For those people with a property to sell, Linden Homes offers a Part Exchange scheme to make that move much easier. Linden Homes will purchase your old home, so you won’t need to worry about marketing your home or organising viewings – and there will be no estate agents’ fees to pay. Once Linden Homes has bought your old home, you are free to go ahead and buy your new home at Exemplar Park.
Exemplar Park is part of the Berryfields consortium, boasting employment opportunities, a food store and 10 other smaller shops, plus three new schools – one of which will be a state-of-the-art academy.
Exemplar Park is in a superb position for commuters, with Aylesbury town centre on its doorstep.
Aylesbury is the county town of Buckinghamshire and boasts a convenient commute into London, plus boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre which hosts drama, live music and comedy.
It has two stations and journey times into the capital of about 65 minutes. The area also enjoys good road links to the M25, the M1 and the M40. Milton Keynes and the city of Oxford are both less than 25 miles away.
