Nine Out Of 10 New Homes Customers Would Recommend Their Builder To A Friend
20 Mar 2014

THE latest national new homes survey has revealed that nine out of 10 customers are happy to recommend their builder to a friend.

According to the National New Homes Survey (the NHBC’s industry survey of homeowners) 90 per cent of respondents said they would recommend their developer to a friend – and 89 per cent said they were satisfied or very satisfied with the overall quality of their home.

These figures show that developers continue to maintain their customer satisfaction to high levels since the survey began in 2005.

The report’s findings confirm the significant progress made in recent years by the industry to deliver exemplary levels of customer service.

This marks very welcoming news for Linden Homes in the Midlands region, whose own recommend a friend figures are above the national average.

An impressive 93.2 per cent of customers from the regional developments (including Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire) say they would recommend Linden Homes to a friend.

Linden Homes’ sales director Chris Roads (pictured) said: “This survey does show that the industry continues to achieve very high levels of customer satisfaction, despite the tough market and trading conditions.

“We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and our own recommend a friend referrals within the Midlands region exceed national figures, placing us as a recognised 5 * builder.”

Linden Homes – which has its regional head office in Peterborough - currently operates a successful incentive that rewards ‘ambassadors’ for recommending the company to new customers.

Under the Refer A Friend scheme, the purchaser and the person recommending will each receive a £1,000 voucher as a thank you.

Linden Homes is already enjoying huge success so far this year, and has recently announced new developments Whetsone in Leicestershire and Stamford in Lincolnshire.

New sites have also been launched at Sandy in Bedfordshire, and Huntingdon. Additional new developments are planed for Higham Ferrers and Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire and Witham St. Hughs, Lincolnshire.
