New Show Home Is To Open At Centurion Park, Haltwhistle
14 Feb 2012

Award-winning housing developer, Linden Homes, is to launch its second new housing development in the region at Centurion Park, Haltwhistle, on Saturday, 25 February.

As the first new housing scheme in the Tyne Valley area for some time, the launch has been eagerly awaited by the many people who have been registering their interest in the properties since construction got underway in October last year.

Located just off the A69, Centurion Park offers a collection of 14 traditionally inspired family homes surrounded by picturesque Northumbrian landscape.  Each of the seven house styles, reflecting the Roman heritage of the area with names such as Petriana, Aesica and Pons Aelius, offers the perfect blend of traditional architectural styling with the benefits of a brand new home.

Constructed from locally sourced stone, the homes feature designer kitchens and bathrooms, energy efficient fittings and the latest build technology, which combined, should make this a really sought-after development in the opinion of Linden Homes’ regeneration director, Mark Wilson.  He says:

“We are very pleased to be able to bring Centurion Park to the market.  The homes on offer have been individually created by our team of specialist designers to suit a wide range of purchasers.  The location is also extremely attractive, benefiting from stunning views of the local countryside, within easy reach of local amenities, 15 miles to the west of Hexham and just over 35 miles from Newcastle.  Haltwhistle  also benefits from its own railway station with regular services to Newcastle and Carlisle.”

Given the current difficulties faced by would-be home owners, Linden Homes  is committed to making home ownership more accessible for first time buyers at Centurion Park with its FirstBuy scheme, which requires a deposit of only five per cent of the full list price, plus a range of other incentives for existing property owners who want to move up the housing ladder.

There’s a house type to suit everyone with a range of thoughtfully designed three bed semi-detached, four bed detached and larger four bed detached homes with a study, which could double as a fifth bedroom if necessary.

With only 14 homes available overall, demand is expected to be brisk and anyone interested is being urged to make contact promptly.
