Local Community Celebrates St Piran's Day

Staff from Linden Homes joined in with the local community recently to celebrate St Piran’s Day at Heartlands in Pool, Redruth.

The company donated a four metre by three metre flag and a plaque to commemorate the special event, which is the national day of Cornwall.

George Eustice MP, the Mayor of Redruth Councillor Judy Davidson and the Mayor of Camborne Councillor Mike Champion met with other luminaries to raise the St Piran’s flag and joined in the parade with members of the local brownie group.

Brian Deacon, sales and marketing director for Linden Homes said: “I was delighted to attend and help raise the giant flag above Robinson’s Shaft. It was a fantastic event that really brought the community together, especially in such a key location at Heartlands. We were thrilled to be involved and look forward to next year’s event.”
