For those looking to move on to or up the property ladder, The Laurels – situated on Sheldon Heath Road – will now play host to a development of 100 semi-detached contemporary designed two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes – 50 of which will be released for sale.

Launched during March’s Budget announcement, the government-backed Help to Buy scheme is already bringing a new ray of hope to first-time buyers and those looking for that next step up the housing ladder.
It is open to all house-hunters looking to purchase a new-build property and works with just a five-per-cent deposit, which is needed by the purchaser. The government then provides a 20-per-cent equity loan, which is interest free for the first five years.
